The causes, symptoms, signs, diagnostics and treatment of pancreatitis and possible interventions for congenital anomalies of the gall bladder and pancreatic ducts are discussed.

Key words: child, acute pancreatitis, gallstone, anomalous junction of the choledochal and pancreatic ducts.
